CE 2.1

    l. The conflict here are the free passes being given to all city council members. Though the employees are to act as "city officials attending a community function", the tickets are over $1,000 and cover special VIP treatments instead of regular staff passes. Some are complaining about the allocation of funds for unnecessary and unrelated recreation events.

 2. Tom Steglich is trying to convey that lawmakers are stagnating on gun control laws because of the funds given to them by the NRA to do exactly that, and are ignoring the lives of children.

 3. Daniel Hamermesh plans to resign later this year because he believes UT's open-carry law on campus could affect the safety of him and his students, due to the size of his class.

 4. Amazon plans to allow artisans from Austin to sell handmade items and crafts, much like Etsy.

 5. MGSV: The Phantom Pain is highly rated due to its replay value, smooth graphics, open-world freedom, and "addictive mission-based structure."

The on-demand mobile delivery industry has exploded because of its simple convenience. I have considered working in this business because it fascinates me how 10 years ago it was unusual to receive an online delivery in under three days, but because of the sheer power today's technology holds we can deliver pretty much anything in an hour. The older generation's stereotype of "millenials" paints us as lazy and accustomed to nothing but instant gratification, but I think this can be marketed to pretty much anyone. Why spend more time doing something mundane like shopping for groceries, and why is our lack of interest in doing it criticized? As these services move past their beta phase I feel everyone will be using them to some degree.
