Short Answer:

Have you ever used Lyft or Uber to get a ride somewhere?

I haven't used Lyft or Uber.
If you have, what was your experience like?
If you have not, do you think that ride sharing is something you might use in the future?

I think so, it seems good for the environment and since I can't drive I probably will have to carpool with someone anyway.

Do you think ride sharing is a good thing for a community like Austin?I think it makes a lot of sense and helps to solve a lot of traffic problems in the city. Outside of the urban areas you don't see ride sharing as often.
What do you think the differences between ride sharing companies and a taxi cab company?Uber and Lyft are more commercial and hire more people than taxi companies. As a result, they have to lower their background checks to serve as many people as possible.
Should they be held to the same standards regarding safety issues?
I think they should be held to good safety standards, but they don't necessarily have to be the same.
