CE 1.5

    1. This meeting was most likely staged for PR purposes by the Pope and the Vatican, as evidenced  by the presence of photographers. The media was probably meant to cover it as a testament to Kim Davis' "brave" objection to the law and her endorsement by the papacy.

    2. Nearly 50% of Texans support gay marriage and 46% support the legalization of marijuana.

    3. 17% of Texans claim discrimination by the police, with 1 in 20 white people claiming discrimination. One in four Hispanics experience discrimination, and 45% of African-Americans have been discriminated against by the police.

    4. This poll is unique because it surveyed the state's entire adult population instead of only voters or likely voters.

 5.  Jordan Spieth closed with a 1-under 69 for a four-shot victory in the Tour Championship. This gained him $10,000 at the age of 22.

Wearables are simply technology that can be worn on the body. They are becoming more prevalent because of their often small, convenient designs. I personally am interested in eyewear devices like Google Glass because of their futuristic design- although I think wearing them would be a little bit silly and impractical at times. Technology incorporated into clothing or otherwise worn on the body has a lot of potential, and I definitely think we will see its spread across the world. The most interesting potential though is its ability to interact with the world and to blur the line between reality and the virtual world.
