the big day

     A young man speeds down a country road in a modern Volkswagen, worry on his face. He slows down as he is stuck behind a trailer and curses as a train passes in front of him. Meanwhile, a wedding is taking place in a quiet church at the top of a mountain. A beautiful bride is talking amongst the bridesmaids, eager to begin the ceremonies. As the vows are being said, the young man dramatically bursts through the doors of the church. His eyes meet another man's - the groom's - and his mouth opens as if to voice an objection but he remains silent.
