Emily Merritt wrote this story. 

2. What is their story about?

Their story is about the new 5SOS album, Sounds Good Feels Good.

3. What is their direct opinion about that topic? Please quote it directly from the story or do a really good job of paraphrasing.

"The best word that describes Sounds Good Feels Good is 'average.'"

4. Did they address what the other side might think about their topic?

They addressed what 5SOS fans might think about the topic. 

5. Were they wishy-washy with their opinion? By this I mean do they ever write anything that makes it sounds like they really aren't sure about their opinion?

They were pretty sure of their opinion, but because of variation between tracks the overall opinion on the album wasn't particularly strong. 

6. Are there any quotes in the story?

There are no quotes in the story. 

7. What point of view did they write in (1st, 2nd or 3rd)?

They wrote in first person. 

8. Can you tell if this person was writing an editorial or a straight commentary piece?

This is a commentary piece in the form of an album review.

Their story explains the social benefits of social media and renounces the idea that it is destructive.

"I think that social media can be a fun way to keep in touch with friends, and a place of self expression for our ideas."

They addressed what other people might think about their topic.

No, they firmly believed in their opinion.

There are no quotes in the story.

They wrote in  third and first person.
